FlexAI POS – AI-Powered Point of Sale

FlexAI POS is a point of sale platform I built and shipped as a real product. It brings AI into the daily operations of small businesses: the till, the stock room, and the end-of-month reports.

Most small retailers run their business across paper notebooks, spreadsheets, and memory. FlexAI POS replaces that patchwork with one system that is simple enough to use on day one.

What it does

• Sales & checkout: fast, reliable order and payment recording built for real counter work.
• Inventory tracking: stock levels update with every sale, so reordering stops being guesswork.
• AI assistance: intelligence layered onto the data the shop already produces, surfacing insights an owner would otherwise need an analyst for.
• Reporting: clear summaries of what sold, when, and what it means for the next order.

Why it matters to me

This is the kind of project my whole portfolio points toward: AI applied to an unglamorous, genuinely useful problem. A POS is not a demo. It has to work every single day, at the moment money changes hands.

Stack and approach

Built as a modern web application with a database-first design: the schema for sales, products, and stock movements came before any interface. The AI features sit on top of clean transactional data, which is exactly why they work.
